The Department of Linguistics offers undergraduate (BA Linguistics) and graduate programs (MA and PhD in Linguistics).
Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics
The undergraduate degree program has three curricula: Plan A (Linguistics), Plan B (Linguistics and Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia) and Plan C (Linguistics and East Asian Language). The students are allowed to choose from these curricula. Plans B and C are like double major courses. Aside from taking all the major linguistics courses, students are also required to take Asian language courses of their choice (Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia, Japanese or Chinese). General Education subjects requirement are taken in the freshman and sophomore years.
