(BEGINNER 1)

Coverage:
Introduction to the Chinese language
The sound system of Mandarin Chinese
Basic Mandarin Chinese greetings and expressions
Survival/Situational Mandarin Chinese

*Same lesson coverage as the INTSIK 10 class offered by the department during regular semesters in the university.

CHINESE MODULE 2
(BEGINNER 2)

Coverage:
Describing things, places, events, person and experiences
Expressing opinion and reason
Asking permission / suggestion

Requirement: Must have taken Chinese Module 1 or Intsik 10 or at least 30 hours of formal education in the language.
*Same lesson coverage as the INTSIK 11 class offered by the department during regular semesters in the university.

Extramural courses are NON-CREDIT courses. A certificate of completion is issued to those who successfully passed the requirements of the classes.
